Please read on if you are renewing your subscriptions for the comingwaterskiing
season, or would like to join the Piarere Water Ski Club.

As always the subs get set at the beginning of each season. Listed here is an outline
of the subs for the 2009-2010 season...

Our fees are comparably low compared to other sporting clubs and organisations. Please
support the system by remembering that “kids” living away from home or at home,
who have their own income should be joining as adult single members.
Guests are
more than welcome, after all, you often need an extra or two to help make up the
numbers - but the more regular ones may consider joining themselves. Three “free”
visits is the general rule of thumb.
Note, we have an individual Junior Membership. This is designed for the kids who
are involved in skiing but whose families might not be. Also good if your kids are
always want to bring along the same friends.
If you are unable to rejoin this year and you wish to avoid a $50 fee when you do
decide to renew your membership in 1 or 2 years, then apply to the committee for
a “leave of absence”. This is especially good if you have commitments which will
not allow you to join for between 1-2 years, or simply if you need a break and need
to reprioritise!
As for big groups (10 or more), you are more than welcome to arrange bookings but
they must go through a committee meeting first; mainly to ensure that they don’t
clash with other bookings etc. As much as possible these will be advertised
in the magazine in the calendar of
events. The magazine is only published every two months, so those
bookings that are too late or too early will be made public by way of the noticeboard in the clubroom.
In order to keep up with technology we are also now asking for an email contact if you have one - its starting to look like a census form!! This is for our convenience
and can also be useful when it comes to making and confirming camping bookings and
the like. We are still interested in the name and make/model (if you have one) of
your boats too as this helps us recognise members and is especially useful with
new members
Last but surely not least...
DON’T FORGET TO SEND BACK YOUR OLD KEY WITH YOUR SUBS!!
If you have lost your key then send $10 extra to cover the cutting of another
